Style Symposium: Jongho's Most Fabulous Jackets

For your weekend amusement, every other Saturday we will share a collection of images centered around the members' styling (such as hair, fashion, accessories, etc.) or stylistic choices (like selfie angles or weird filters). Perhaps we will have deep, meaningful thoughts about them. Perhaps we won't.

Today, we celebrate. Jongho has just come back from his hiatus, which is reason enough. But also, winter is fast approaching, which means it's time to look to Jongho for fabulous jacket inspo.

So here are some of my favorite jackets that Jongho has worn on stage, and please also enjoy the excellent stylings of the other members as well.

And please don't come at me for leaving out many amazing jackets. Since all members have worn fabulous jackets at some point or another, and they are sometimes wearing fabulous jackets at the same time as Jongho, for the purposes of my picks here today, I only picked stages where I liked Jongho's jacket the best of all the jackets in the styling, which does mean I left out some truly excellent outer wear. But we move.

I love this sort of loose oversized jacket cinched at the waist with a belt, and I have at least 3 pictures of Jongho saved wearing this exact same jacket, which I assume means he also loved it. Sometimes, he wears it uncinched, and he looks equally great.

You can see here a beautiful pop of bright green color over a simple black and white outfit, which is just the way Jongho likes it.

What I've learned about myself is that I love a cropped jacket. Yunho is also bringing great jacket energy here, but Jongho's jacket is the one I would purchase and wear for myself, which says much more about me than about the jacket.

This almost looks like a tweed cropped blazer, which is exactly what I would wear if I was a career woman instead of someone who frequently works in her pajamas. It is effortlessly nice and makes his shoulders look great.

Please. Look at the tassels. And the suede. I just couldn't love it anymore. This is probably my second favorite Jongho jacket of all time. I have a PC of him wearing it, and I am currently searching for the perfect home for it to adequately show off how beautiful it is.

If you look closely, you can see that this jacket has a bit of a tail, which is what pushes it into a top tier jacket for me. I don't know if you know this, but most men cannot pull off a double breasted suit jacket. Good thing Jongho is not most men.

I almost didn't include this one because Hongjoong's jacket also speaks to me on a very personal level. But the cropped jackets get me every time.

I would argue this is one of Jongho's god tier looks generally. And while there are a lot of great jackets here (San's is also so good), I literally love this dual toned jacket. It is effortlessly fancy and cool, just like Jongho.

Incredibly, Eternal Sunshine gifted us some of our best jacket stages. Here we have another cropped situation that is so reminiscent to something my grandma would wear that she might actually own this jacket.

Jongho actually wears a ton of leather jackets, and most of them didn't make it onto this post because often another member was wearing something slightly more exciting than just a black leather jacket. BUT NOT HERE. Here, we have an oreo leather jacket, which is fun and cool and something I would love to own.

It's hard to see all the details in Jongho's Don't Stop fit in this picture, which is a shame because it's gorgeous and the MV was taken offline, so all other traces of it are lost to the sands of time. But I love the CEO energy he gives off while wearing it, especially in this picture.

I love a denim jacket, and Jongho wears them pretty frequently, which is great for me personally. Here, this one has the fun bleached detail, and I love that the rest of his outfit is black ensuring that he still isn't wearing more than 3 colors, as he prefers. King.

Here it is. The jacket that ties for second place for me with his brown tassel jacket. His marching band jacket. One, it's a beautiful jacket. Two, I think he looks incredible in it.

It's like a denim jacket, except it's silver and shiny. This jacket is very similar to the one Mingi wore in one of the earlier The Real stages, but here it's dressed more casually with all black underneath and silver details.

I am a big fan of all of these jackets, honestly. But again, it's that duo tone of Jongho's that wins my heart. It's just a really unique way to make a jacket stand out.

I love that literally every jacket here is just doing the absolute most, and that Jongho's is doing the most of the most. There's so much going on here--the length, the sparkle embroidery, the almost tweet pattern? The perfect jacket for New Year's Eve.
